Unlimited Games. How should Red play 32?

This turns out to be very close.

There are two valid approaches. You can try priming with 13/11, 8/5, taking the risk of slotting the 5-pt or you can try running/trying to build an advanced anchor with 24/22, 13/10. Note that both plays take the last spare off the mid-point which is unusual in the opening.

I have a slight preference for the more aggressive 13/11, 8/5 while XG favours the splitting play by the tiniest of margins.

The third best play is 24/22, 11/8 but that is an error as you would expect as it is just too safe at this stage of the game.

And what about another combination: 24-22 / 8-5 combining attack and defence?
