Match Play. 0-0 to 7. Should Red redouble? If redoubled, should White take?

Despite White’s strong home board this is a huge redouble because of the volatility. Nearly 40% of Red’s wins are gammons.

In addition to the blitz game plan there is also a priming game plan to be had.

Red has total control of the outer boards, and in addition, White’s home board could collapse.

Meanwhile, White can win from a variety of anchor games plus there is always the chance of an indirect shot.

A blunder not to double. A bigger blunder to drop as White.
