It might seem right to hang back with bar/23, 6/5 but Red leads in the race and has the stronger home board. Both those facts indicate that Red should step up with bar/22 and challenge White now.
The rollouts strongly support this idea. Bar/23, 6/5 is a bad error but not quite a blunder.
