Red’s position looks more threatening than it is, and he has a lot of work to do to win the game. His open 4-pt and the dilly builder on his 2-pt will make it difficult for him to close White out. Meanwhile, he has three rear checkers to worry about.
This all adds up to a clear no double and a very easy take despite that fact that four points would get him to Crawford.
