There are lots of possible moves here, but I always remember Robertie’s directive that the opponent’s last rear checker must pay a price to exit the home board.

That concept steers one very quickly to 10/3*. White must not be allowed to play his whole with freedom. A play such as 13/7, 8/7 is way too passive and is a blunder. 13/7, 5/4 comes in second place but that move is still an error.
