Match Play. Red trails 6-7 to 11. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?

I had this position as White in a recent online UKBGF league match. It looks like an easy take for money as Red has a lot of work to do, but at this score a gammon with the cube on 2 gets Red to the Crawford Game with White on an odd number. Does that make it a pass of Red’s clearcut double?

The answer is no. It would be a blunder to drop.

I took and got gammoned and then lost the match at DMP. C’est la vie!!
