Match Play. Red trails 6-8 to 11. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?

This is a good practical double because Red’s threatens to win a gammon but technically this is no double/take.

The duplication of fours is significant. White’s broken prime is a strong asset and Red is behind in the race. You might scare a few players into dropping but Red does better to leave the cube in the centre.
