Match Play. Red leads 6-5 to 7 (Crawford). How should Red play 22?

After making the 2-pt with 6/2 it looks obvious to make an inner board point. However, gammons don’t help Red and all he wants to do is bring his checkers home and win the race. The most difficult point to clear is the mid-point. Ergo, clear it now with 13/11(2).

6/2, 5/3(2) is a sizeable error.
