Match Play. Red trails 5-8 to 11. How should Red play 53?

As Falafel said, “if you can make the 5-pt, do so and wonder later what else you might have done”. As a general rule his words still hold true.

Here Red, who is trailing, gets the rack and duplicates nearly all of White’s sixes.

Making the 5-pt wins more gammons. 14/9, 13/10 is a bad error, all other plays are blunders or worse, 10/2* is a quadruple blunder as it follows completely the wrong game plan.
