Match Play. Red leads 3-0 to 13. Should Red redouble? If redoubled should White take?

Although Red is favourite to hit the second blot, he doesn’t have much time to do so. While Red’s 6-pt is open White will always have chances.

A hit followed by a six from White more or less retains the status quo and although scary this is a perfectly correct take. Dropping would actually be a blunder. It is an error not to redouble but it is closer than you might think.
