Yes, and it is not close.
1) If there is an exchange of hits the fourth home board point could be crucial.
2) 8/2, 6/5 doesn’t solve the problem of clearing the mid-point and the 11-pt. Blue could very soon face the same problem again.
8/2, 6/5 is a blunder (just). As Kent Goulding says, “put them where you want them”.
