Match Play. Blue leads 4-2 to 11. Should Blue redouble? If redoubled, should White take?
This is a three or four roll position (or maybe even two).
Blue misses with ones, threes and fours but the fours fill the ace-point gap.
Unless White rolls a double Blue should easily be off in four rolls and win. Blue must miss twice for the misses to be significant.
For money this is a big drop. At this score it is still a drop although closer. One of the problems is that White’s redoubles to 8 will be very inefficient. He will nearly certainly have missed his market or not have one at all.
So, redouble/ drop but if White is the weaker player, it becomes a take.
