Very clearly, Blue should double as this is a volatile position and he has plenty of threats.
The combination of the 18-pt anchor, his own three-point prime and the fact that he has only one vulnerable checker give White a relatively comfortable take.
I don’t this is an obvious take, given that Blue leads by 18 pips in the race. However, the rollouts give White 30% winning chances and I don’t doubt the rollouts so, double and take it is.
