Blue is out of time. Take one of the checkers from his 2-pt and put it on his 6-pt and the position becomes a massive pass. As Leo has pointed out in the comments in the actual position eleven numbers crash Blue’s home board. This is still a strong double, but it is also a comfortable take.

However, I would expect a lot of people to drop this over the board.
