Match Play. Red leads 4-3 to 7. How should Red play 33?
Red cannot afford to play loosely on both sides of the board so a loose hit on the 2-pt is the wrong idea.
After bar/22 he must take the tempo gaining hit 5/2(2)*. It looks odd to make the 2-pt but needs must. Then the only logical fourth three is 13/10. White will fan 25% of the time and then Red’s position will look very good despite having made the three lowest points in his home board
