Match Play. Blue leads 2-0 to 13. Should Blue redouble? If redoubled, should White take?

At an even score this would be a big redouble and easy take. It would also be a double from the middle at 2-0.

However, at this score with cube already on 2 Blue must take more care despite it being a thirteen-point match. White will be quick to redouble to 8 if he gets the chance and the match could be over in one game if White were to win a gammon!

It is close but Blue should hold on to the cube and improve his position slightly before redoubling. Redoubling is not an error and, of course, if you think White might pass you should redouble with alacrity.

The key here is to understand how the score potentially influences the doubling decision.
