Match Play. Blue trails 0-4 to 11. Should Blue double? If doubled, should White take?


As the problem stands this is no double/take despite the score, White’s three blots and Blue having the better home board. Blue has far too much work to do, and the decision isn’t close.


However, I posted the position with the wrong player on roll! My apologies for that. It is a much more interesting problem with White on roll. That now becomes Problem 101, with colours revered.
