Match Play. 0-0 to 7. Should Red redouble? If redoubled, should White take?

This comes from the UBC finals and features one of Mochy’s rare mistakes when he took this redouble as White and lost a gammon and the match.

Red has just enough time (on average) to extricate his rear checkers and so White should drop. The five white blots give Red a lot of tactical opportunities.

Not redoubling is an error while taking is (very nearly) a blunder.

It is very difficult to get this right over the board so don’t worry if you didn’t.
