Match Play. Red trails 2-6 to 11. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?
For money this is just a double and a trivial take. The score changes things but not enough to change the actions. Now the double is mandatory. Not doubling is a double blunder. The take is still comfortable.
Interestingly, if you move the checkers on White’s 9-pt back to his 10-pt the position becomes a borderline drop at this score because of the awkwardness of some of Red’s sixes.
