Match Play. Red trails 6-7 to 11. How should Red play 32?

This is very close. Over the board I played 20/18, 9/6 and was surprised when XG didn’t like the play. A rollout told a different story and 20/18, 9/6 is only fractionally weaker than the top play, 9/4.

20/18, 9/6 does generate some extra hits but loses more gammons when White rolls an eight. The trade-off is close but the simple 9/4, leaving no shots and starting a key point, turns out to be the winner. 8/6, 8/5 is weaker because it gives up the potentially useful 8-pt.
