Unlimited Games. How should Red play 43?


An old backgammon adage tells us to make the point that is more difficult to make.


Here Red will get later chances to make his own 5-pt but very few to make his opponent’s 5-pt. QED he should make White’s 5-pt, especially as White has that extra builder on his 9-pt.


This is not close. Hitting is a bad error while making his own 5-pt is very nearly a blunder.
