There are four sensible plays here. 13/11, 6/5; 13/10; 24/23, 13/11 and 24/21.


The final three are pretty much tied in terms of equity but XG rates them all small errors. 13/11, 6/5 is the winner. Taking a risk now in an attempt to equalise the position is just worth it. White has ten checkers in the attack zone, so splitting is somewhat risky.


I got this wrong over the board by playing 24/23, 13/11 so I definitely learnt something from this long rollout.
