For money doubling here would be a double blunder. White’s five-point home board is a very real threat.
However, 4-away versus 2-away is the score that gives the trailer the maximum cube leverage. Now not doubling is worse than a quadruple blunder. A gammon gives Red the match. White has a take but it is close and I wouldn’t criticise anybody for dropping, particularly if they were the stronger player.
