Match Play. 0-0 to 7. How should Red play 44?

This one puzzles me. 7/3(2)*, 5/1(2) wins slightly more games and gammons than 13/9, 10/6, 7/3(2)* and yet it loses the rollout by 0.022.

If Red plays 7/3(2)*, 5/1(2) and White enters immediately then Red will have some difficulty clearing his mid-point and 10-pt. That is the only reason I can see for 13/9, 10/6, 7/3(2)* being the better play but I would welcome any additional comments.
