Match Play. Red leads 6-5 to 11. How should Red play 55?

This is very close and 18/8, 6/1(2)* is only a tiny error.

However, allowing White his whole roll by playing 18/3, 8/3 is a blunder. It is import to take the tempo with 6/1(2)*.

18/13, 11/1*, 6/1* is somewhat inflexible.

The best move is the ‘obvious’ 8/3(2), 6/1(2)* which wins slightly fewer games than 18/8, 6/1(2)* but many more gammons.
