Match Play. 2-2 to 7. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?
White has a solid position and Red has only eight checkers in the attack zone. Red will hit the second blot most of the time but because of that dearth of attackers he will still have a lot of work to do.
The position is not as volatile as perhaps its looks as first sight. I would double because I will certainly get some passes but in fact this is right on the borderline and doubling and not doubling have the same equities.
The big error is in dropping which is actually a quadruple blunder. As White you must look further than just the next roll.
