Money Play. How should Red play 42?

Bray’s Law states that you should never compromise your home board unless you have to.

Red will find it very hard to win if he doesn’t have a strong home board so he must free a checker from the 22-pt. 22/18, 6/4 and 22/16 are the two contenders and there is virtually nothing to choose between them. Ergo, Red must play one of those two moves. When White misses he will have his own problems to contend with.
