Unlimited Games. Should Red redouble? If redoubled, should White take?
Half of Red’s wins will be gammons but he will lose 35% of the time.
White’s strong home board means that Red’s blitz will be difficult to execute as a single hit by White may stall the blitz in its tracks. In addition, Red’s home board is impure and if White manages to anchor Red will have trouble bearing in and off.
Clearly the position is highly volatile and Red should redouble now. By next turn he may have missed his market. Not redoubling is nearly a blunder.
However, the strength of White’s home board gives him an easy take. Dropping is nearly a triple blunder.
