Match Play. Red leads 3-1 to 5. How should Red play 33?
Red doesn’t have enough checkers in the zone, so a blitz is the wrong game plan. That means priming is the right idea. After the obvious 11/18(2) to block sixes, Red could play 11/5 but much better is 13/10(2), bringing two checkers closer to the zone in case a blitz can be executed.
That play also keeps the blot on the 11-pt as a builder for the 9-pt.
Any play other than 13/10(2), 11/8(2) is a bad blunder.
