Money Play. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?
Clearly Red should double. He has long-term advantages and a lot of potential market-losing sequences.
Can White take? He is the game forever because of his anchor but it will take him a long time to turn the game round. His main problem is that he loses a very high percentage of gammons.
The rollout shows that this is the skinniest of takes but I would not criticise anybody for dropping this one.
