Unlimited Games. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?
A fairly straightforward ending very similar to a famous ending from the first ever World Cup featuring Joe Sylvester and Ray Glazer.
It is a three-roll ending where White has a take because he may only take only one or two rolls to bear off.
Not doubling is nearly a double blunder while dropping would be worse than a quintuple blunder!
I had the World Cup position as a reference position so I knew the answer as soon as the position occurred. Reference positions are incredibly useful in providing shortcuts to the correct solutions.
