Match Play. 2-2 to 5. How should Red play 22?

Red does not have the timing for a 4-5 back game. He does better to separate the anchors and challenge the checkers on White’s midpoint.

The three best plays are: 20/18(2), 7/5, 6/4; 20/16(2); 20/18(2), 13/11, 7/5. Anything other than these three plays is an error, albeit only a small one.
