Money Play. How should Red play 31?
Only compromise your home board if you absolutely have to. I have learnt that lesson so many times!
Here Red does not have to compromise his board and should simply play 16/12. White is not favourite to hit the blot. Any play other 16/12 is a blunder. Even if you take the spare checkers from White’s 6- and 5-pts to make his ace-point, 16/12 would still be the correct play by a long, long way.
Lesson learnt - again!
