Match Play. Red leads 1-0 to 7. Should Red redouble? If, redoubled, should White take?

For money this is a clear pass – too many gammons.

However, that single point by which Red leads changes the decision at this score to a very trivial take for White. The potential for a redouble to 8 to put the match on the line (and with gammons no longer counting) is enough to move this is into comfortable take territory.

If the cube was in the centre this would be a huge double and a huge drop.
