Money Play. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?

On initial evaluation XG sees this is as a take but after a long rollout it sees the truth of the situation, which is that White should pass Red’s double, if only just. White’s fours and twos could well lead to the exposure of a second blot and the loss of 17% gammons.

If you put the third checker from White’s 3-pt on his bar-point the position is not even a double. As usual small changes make big differences to the cube decisions.
