Money Play. How should Red play 61?

There are a number of options here. The question is whether to slot the opponent’s bar-point or your own.

It is close but 24/18, 6/5 is marginally better than 13/7, 6/5. The blot on the opponent’s bar-point is a deflecting play. If White makes his bar-pt he won’t be making his 5-pt (except with 11).

24/23, 11/5 is too passive a play. 24/18, 6/5 is a dynamic play and in the opening we are looking for dynamic rather than passive plays.
