Money Play. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?
With 27 shots this is a clear double, but it is also a trivial take. If Red misses White will have a winning redouble. Secondly, there is plenty of life after death as White’s strong home board will generate some winning return shots and in some variations White will anchor and win from there.
Finally, White only loses a gammon about 11% of the time from here.
Dropping the double would be a pentuple blunder!
