Money Play. . How should Red play 62?
Red needs to get his rear checkers going so a play like 13/7, 8/6 is not the right idea.
To an extent Red’s strong home board protects him so it is a choice between running with 22/14 and the proactive 24/18, 8/6.
The latter play both wins and loses more gammons but keeping the rear checkers connected just wins the day and although 22/14 is not an error, 24/18, 8/6 is the right play.
