Match Play. Red leads 4-2 to 7. How should Red play 53?

This one is not difficult but over the board Red played 24/21, 7/2 which is a huge blunder.

The correct play is 24/16, challenging the White blot in the outer board and also keeping a solid five-point prime on the other side of the board.

Of course, 7/2, 5/2 is even worse than 24/21, 7/2 as Red’s board may implode next turn.
