Money Play. How should Red play 62?


So long as you didn’t play 20/12 or 8/2 with the six you did OK here!

This a toss-up between 13/7 and 9/3. The rollouts have 13/7 as best by a tiny amount. The key point is that you see 13/7 as a candidate play. White will rarely hit two blots so it is best to put the checkers where you want them, as Kent Goulding would say. Bar/23, 13/7 it is!
