Money Play. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?

This is clearly a massive double because of the volatility and the gammon threat.

Can White take? Red misses with 19 numbers and if White survives the first roll he will have very good winning chances himself and will win some gammons of his own. Even if hit he will re-enter first time 30% of the time and that gives him additional winning chances.

This is a very scary but correct take. Dropping is nearly a double blunder. Backgammon is not for the feint-hearted.
