Money Play. How should Red play 51?
Red must hit with 8/3*. After that he can play relatively safely with 8/7 but that leaves the problem of the two rear checkers stuck behind a five-point prime.
He must grasp the bull by the horns and play 24/23 and then perhaps close his eyes!
8/7, 8/3* is an error (just). Don’t forget that Red owns the cube which may be put to good use if things turn out well.
