Money Play. How should Red play 42?

This is a classic demonstration that you should diversify your blots while your opponent is on the bar.

The correct play is 18/16, 18/14. This is because it makes it easier to bring the checkers home and crucially, any hit by White will generate multiple return shots while Red has the stronger home board.

Of course, if White rolls 44 or 22 you know it is just not your day!

Over the board 20/14 was played but that was a blunder.
