Match Play. 4-4 to 11. Should red double? If doubled, should White take?

A balanced position where Red has the edge in the race and has significant threats. The volatility is such that Red should double but White has a very easy take and dropping would be a huge blunder.

If you move the Red checker from the mid-point to the 9-pt to make a five-point prime  then it would be a massive pass for White. Small changes make for big differneces in equity in backgammon. That is why the game is so difficult.
