Match Play. Red leads 3-0 to 7. Should red double? If doubled, should White take?

At 0-0 this would be a simple double and pass. At this score, with Red four points from the match, only a true optimist would take this as White.

Is Red too good to double? It is close but the answer is yes. It is an error but not a blunder to double and take the sure point. The extra point from the undoubled gammon is worth the risk.
