Unlimited Games. Should Blue double. If doubled, should White take?
A classic initial double. Blue has the advantage in race, threat and position but none of those advantages is crushing. In addition, Blue has only eight checkers in the attack zone so this should be a take, which it is.
In fact, it is a comfortable take. Not doubling is a blunder as is passing as White. Take a Blue checker from the mid-point to make his 8-pt and the position becomes a massive pass.
