Match Play. 0-0 to 7. Should Blue double? If doubled, should White take?

This is a relatively static position, but Blue does have a good advantage with his five-point prime and three White checkers trapped behind it.

The overall strength is just enough for Blue to double, but it is close and I would not criticise anybody for waiting.

White has a trivial take as he has so many possible game plans: prime, blitz, holding game, back game. Dropping would be a huge blunder.
