Unlimited games. How should Red play 42?


The key point here is to maximise contact on White’s bad numbers, 61 and 62. The fours must be played 22/18. The two can be moved either 7/5 or 5/3.


These plays create 2% more wins at the cost of 1% more gammon losses – a very favourable deal.
