Unlimited Games. Should Blue Double? If doubled, should White take?

If White’s rear checkers were on Blue’s ace-point, then this would be double and pass. When the checkers are on Blue’s 2-pt it is a very different ball game.

Now this only just a double by a tiny amount and a very trivial take. It is much more difficult to prime White and the 2-pt generates shots earlier than the ace-point game. Consequently, White loses fewer gammons.

So, borderline double, very easy take. Dropping is worse than a double blunder.
