Double Match Point. How should Red play 22?

13/11(2), 3/1(2)* would be the right play at gammon go scores but here Red is only concerned with winning the game.

He will be seventeen pips ahead after the roll and so the logical play is 24/22, 13/11(3), seeking to escape the rear checker. The rollout shows this to be the strongest play by a mere 0.012 so the hitting play should not be criticised because it is so close.
